Terms of use
The deal, in plain language.
Short version: Arrival helps you stay organised. It does not decide anything about your immigration case, and it never pretends to.
What Arrival is
Arrival is a planning and organisation tool for international students. It helps you track documents, deadlines, checklists, and budgets, and it surfaces guidance drawn from official sources.
What Arrival is not
Arrival does not provide legal advice and is not a substitute for your university's international student office, an immigration attorney, or the government authority handling your case. It cannot determine your immigration status, your eligibility for a visa, or whether you will be admitted at a port of entry.
Arrival does not provide financial, tax, or investment advice. The budgeting tools perform arithmetic on figures you supply.
Accuracy and review
Guidance in Arrival carries the official source it came from and the date it was last reviewed. Immigration policy changes without notice, and a guide can be correct on its review date and wrong a month later. Always confirm against the linked official source before acting.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, for meeting your own deadlines, and for keeping your device and account secure. Reminders are a convenience, not a guarantee — a missed notification does not shift responsibility for a missed deadline.
Accounts and subscriptions
Arrival requires an account. The core preview lasts 14 days from account creation and requires no card. After it ends, creating and editing planning records requires the whole-app unlock. Saved records remain readable, exportable, and deletable; profile, security, authentication, and support remain accessible. Mobile vault files remain encrypted on the device.
Arrival full access is a one-time non-consumable mobile purchase, with a reference US price of US$19.99. The store checkout shows the actual localized price before confirmation. There is no recurring charge, renewal, or new subscription cancellation requirement for this unlock. The website does not process purchases.
Use Restore purchases in the mobile app while signed into the original Arrival account and the store account used for the purchase. The purchase stays with its original Arrival account and cannot be transferred to another Arrival account; access depends on verification of the store purchase status. Historical recurring subscriptions, if shown in account records, remain separate and must be managed with the store that billed them. Deleting the app or your Arrival account does not cancel such a historical subscription.
AI allowance and availability
Free accounts have 3 successful AI requests total. The whole-app unlock includes 60 successful AI requests total (including requests already used during the preview), with at most 20 per month and 5 per day. Journey guidance, optional cloud document-text analysis, and knowledge search share that allowance. Refused requests, failed requests, and empty results do not consume it. These are finite total allowances, not unlimited AI or a monthly refill; no top-ups are offered. Credits already used during the preview count toward the paid total; restoring, refunds, account deletion, transfers, or repurchasing do not reset usage.
A purchase does not authorize legal decisions or guarantee an AI response. Production cloud AI and document-text analysis remain release-gated pending privacy approval and provider configuration. The core app unlock is independent of cloud AI availability. Optional document-text processing requires a separate confirmation of the redacted text preview.
Changes
These terms may change as the product does. Material changes will be surfaced in the app rather than quietly amended here.

If anything in Arrival contradicts an official government source, the official source is correct and Arrival is wrong. Please report it from the support page so we can fix it.
